1. Getting to Malaga Airport - By Bus

Need to know which bus number or bus line you’ll need to get to the Malaga Airport?

Bus: A Express
The A Express Bus is a bus that travels back and forth between the city centre and the airport.  The bus stops at the bus station at Terminal T3.  
The A Express bus does not run during the night, and travel time is about fifteen minutes.

Paseo del Parque (General Torrijos Sq. and Plaza Marina)-Alameda Principal-Avenida Andalucía- Bus station- Héroe de Sostoa (in front of Obras públicas) -Héroe de Sostoa (María Zambrano train station)- Avenida de Velázquez (stops: Bda Luz, Puerta Blanca, Azucarera y Villa Rosa) - Airport.

Bus: Intercity Bus
The Intercity Bus has several lines running from cities near the airport to the airport.  Here are the bus lines and numbers:

Bus: Long Distance Bus
The Long Distance Bus transports people to and from cities that are farther away from the airport than the city bus and A Express Bus.

Bus: Shuttle Bus
The Malaga Airport’s shuttle bus service is a good way to get to the airport from shorter distance locations.  Serving most of the area, it transports to and from locations such as Malaga City, Marabella, Estepona, Nerja, Puerto Banus, and Torremolinos.
Please check with the airport for rates and stops for using the shuttle bus.

2. Getting to Malaga Airport - By Train

The Malaga area and surrounding cities can get to the Malaga Airport via train.  The main line, Line C1, connects with the Malaga Airport at Terminal T3.  The trains run around every thirty minutes, with no service at night.

Fuengirola, Los Boliches, Torreblanca, Carvajal, Torremuelle, Benalmadena-Arroyo de la Miel, El Pinillo, Montemar-Alto, Torremolinos, La Colina, Los Alamos, Plaza Mayor, San Julián, Malaga Airport, Guadalhorce, Victoria Kent (correspondence with the line C-2), Malaga María Zambrano (correspondence High-speed rail, midway and long-distance trains) and Malaga Center (Alameda).

3. Getting to and from Malaga Airport - By Taxi

If you are local, getting to the airport via Taxi might be a great option for you. For those who have recently gotten off the train, taxis can typically be found waiting for you at Terminal T3, right after you collect your baggage. Taxis run throughout the Malaga area, to many locations along the Costa del Sol, including Antequera, Calahonda, Fuengirola, Nerja, Puerto Banus, and Torremolinos. Taxis will also take you to the airport from various places along the Costa del Sol, as listed above.

4. Reduced Mobility Assistance

If you or a member of your traveling party requires mobility assistance, hearing or speech assistance, or has special needs, the Malaga Airport is happy to help.  This assistance is available year round, all seasons, and twenty-four hours a day.
